The entirety of this course is learning how to employ your pistol, rifle, and kit from concealment for Active Shooter Self Defense Scenarios. We will discuss personal equipment configurations, equipment setup for bags, and firearms configuration considerations. From there we'll discuss some data that has been collected from the Texas University ALERRT Program for active attack/shooter scenarios, a little bit of information that FEMA addresses in emergency management and active shooter scenarios, and then move into the firearms employment block of instruction. This will include employing your firearm from concealment through static and dynamic shooting drills and the use of cover and concealment.
