Contingency Preparedness & Extreme Scenario Emergency Management Specialist

The Legion Preparedness Emergency Management, Preparedness, and Security Specialist is the the final training program for full spectrum preparedness. This program is an at your own pace program that you can complete at home and within your state education system. There are multiple requirements, memberships, and courses that you will have to complete that pull from an array of careers and walks in life. In part this is where the motto for the EMPSS (Masters of Chaos) comes into play. It doesn't matter what your background is anyone who is willing to committee the time and effort for this program with be able to obtain this certificate.

There are two categories for this program the (In-State & Self Study Program) & the (In-Person Training Program) 

is the final membership of Legion Preparedness and a league of extrodinary men and women who have committed themselves to the Full Spectrum vision of Legion Preparedness and completed all of the associated training and met all of the requirements to hold the title of a master of chaos. The following personnel have demonstrated themselves and earned the title "Master of Chaos".

Masters of chaos approach is that of ancient times: Like the Spartan Warriors, Roman Legion Auxillary Soldiers, Samuari, and Knights of the Crusades. The Masters of Chaos have gone out and equipped and trained themselves to handle multiple scenarios and situations from low vis, covert, & overt operations. They have conducted firearms training, CQB Training, and Emergency Management, among many other schools and personnal interested 

We will recognize training courses from a handful of Firearms training instructors and programs within the United States.

  • IS-19.21: FEMA EEO Supervisor Course (3 Hours) 
  • IS-26: Guide Points of Distribution (4 Hours) 
  • IS-42.a: Social Media in Emergency Management (3 Hours) 
  • IS-75: Military Resourses in Emergency Management (2 Hours) 
  • IS-100: Introduction to the Incident Command System (2 Hours) 
  • IS-120: Exercise Design (3 Hours)
  • IS-200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Actions Incidents (4 Hours)
  • IS-201: Forms Used in Preparation of the Incident Action Plan (2 Hours)
  • IS-230: Principles of Emergency Management (6 Hours)
  • IS-235: Emergency Planning (5 Hours)
  • IS-240: Leadership & Influence (3 Hours)
  • IS-241: Decision Making and Problem Solving (2 Hours)
  • IS-242: Effective Communication (8 Hours)
  • IS-244: Developing and Managing Volunteers (4 Hours)
  • IS-520: Introduction to Continuity of Operations Planning for Pandemic Influenzas (1 Hour)

  • IS-2900: National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) (3 Hours)
** NOTE **
All of the courses listed above are apart of the State Guard Association of the United States (SGAUS) Military Emergency Management Basic, Senior, and Master Certification Course Lists

It is not a requirement. However, we highly encourage you to become a member of the SGAUS and complete the Basic, Senior, and Master Certifications. It will only better you and give you better insight and situational awareness.

NREMT - Emergency medical Responder & Emergency Medical Technician 
Must complete a state level Basic Emergency Medical Technician Certification and Register with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians 

Most certificate programs are going to cost between $1000.00 - $2000.00 and take two to three months to complete. 
**NOTE** 
If you are located in a state that is not apart of the the NREMT you will need to submit your course graduation certificate Legion Preparedness and we will validate its authenticity with your certifying school or authority.

FCC - GMRS & HAM TECHNICIAN License
Must have a GMRS License
  • This License only requires a small fee to the FCC and is good for 10 years
  • License cost between $35.00 - $75.00 
Must have a Ham Technician License 
  • This License does require an examination and possibly a little bit of training and/or study but upon the completion of this courses you will have the license for life and have the ability to communicate on a multitude of higher power radios and larger frequency range  
  • Training, Exam, and License Fees cost around $100.00 - $200.00

These are additional courses, training, and memberships we highly recommend. It will only better you and provide you with better situational awareness, perspective, knowledge, and wisdom to be able to handle anything that gets thrown at you.

If it is a major department or state program or training lead and conducted by Special Forces Green Beret with the apporpiate credentials we will more than likely accept the training certificate. 
Modern day Self-Defense Course
Crew training program

There are 7 levels to the EMPSS Program. 4 of the 7 will be available to all civilian, law enforcement, and military personnel. 2 of the 7 will only be available personnel who have a background in SWAT and/or Special Operations. 
The last level of the EMPSS is for anyone who goes above and beyond and fulfills all training and licensing requirements.
