Legion Prepaerdness was started after quickly realizing that most of the prepper / preparedness companies and communities seemed to continually fall short in when addressing what preparedness really is and presenting the critical information in a logical manner. After spending time in Readyman, ZERT, Fieldcraft survival and many other sites and companies I realize that althought the industry leaders like Readyman and field craft were crushing the market they also focused alot of their content on the click bait tactical side of the house. Although I feel this is a critical portion of preparedness there is so much more to the equition than just firearms, tactical equipment, and tactical training. Don't get me wrong Legion has a huge percentage of stock in our content in those areas. But like I stated above theses is so much more, and after spending countless hours in FEMA, ICS, SUstainment and Support, COMMO, MEDICAL, and NETWORKING COURSES. I realized the that true full spectrum preparedness is about so much more and I was able to collective consolidate individual preparedness to 12 Core Pillars

Over the past 10 years it has been interesting to watch the Rise and Fall of some of the most interesting preparedness groups such as the III%ers, the Watchmen, ZERT Nation, Readyman, Fieldcraft Survival, and the community that surrounds them all. On one side of the coin it is an incredible thing to see how many American citizens want to be apart of preparedness community groups. It's also unfortunate watch companies come and go in the wake of all the people they have influenced, inspired, supported, and made knowledge sharing and training more available to all. As we pay homage to the old we look to the present an future for the new just like the phoenix from the ashes rises something new.
